Road reconstruction on Main Street and at Devonshire Ave and Cardinal Drive in the City of Woodstock has created a few detours for Woodstock Transit.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock and Oxford County is still moving forward with several major construction projects.
Main Street is going through a complete road reconstruction. This started on April 15th and will last for a couple of months.
For transit users of the #5 Southeast bus route A detour has been set up at Mill Street and Main Street through the lights, turn right on Simcoe Street, left on Young Street to the Terminal.
Temporary Stops:
Mill Street and Main Street
Simcoe Street and Finkle Street
Peel Street and Wellington Street
The Main Street construction will also impact the #6 Southeast bus route.
A detour will happen at Simcoe Street to Mill Street, turn left on Mill Street.

Road reconstruction at Devonshire Avenue and Cardinal drive started on Monday.
The #2 Dundas bus route will use a detour from Cardinal Drive the bus turns right on Hummingbird Crescent, right on Falcon Drive, left on Cardinal Drive, left on Lansdowne Avenue to its regular route.
No time table yet for how long this construction will last.
