City Council has thrown their support behind dedicating part of Highway 403 from Burlington to Woodstock as Alexander Graham Bell Parkway. Brant MPP Dave Levac made the request to council even though the highway technically doesn't come into Woodstock. It's a request Levac has made several times though the motion has never made it all the way through the legislature. While the request is not a private members bill, Levac would need the support of all of the communities the highway passes through in order for the request to be granted.
