A couple of road closures in Oxford County today have been caused by separate crashes that happened 5-minutes apart.
The most serious happened in the intersection of Norwich Road at Oxford Road 13 between a car and motorcycle, at around 1:15PM. The biker was taken to Woodstock Hospital with serious injuries.
As a result, Norwich Road will be closed between Zenda Line and Middletown Line for investigation. Oxford Road 13 will be closed between Quaker Street and Pleasant Valley Road.
The other crash happened at 1:20PM, on Oxford Road 8 in Blandford-Blenheim Township. It was a single vehicle collision that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries for the female driver. She was taken to Grand River Hospital in Kitchener.
Police have Oxford Road 8 closed between Trussler Road and Blenheim Road (Oxford Road 43), until about 5PM.
