The Province is reporting 270 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 486 resolved cases. Region of Waterloo continues to see high numbers with 44 confirmed today.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 270 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 542,468.
The Province confirmed 3 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 9,022. Another 486 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 529,992.
The province completed 13,828 tests yesterday. We currently have 261 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 323 people in the ICU and 202 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 47 new cases in Toronto, 44 in the Region of Waterloo, 42 in Peel, 22 in York Region, 12 in Ottawa and 12 in Niagara.
