A little girl whose been waging a courageous battle with leukemia is close to having her dreams come true. 7-year-old Olivia Romkes from Burgessville is set to leave Sunday, with her family, on a Make-a-Wish trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Romkes was to go this passed April, but she fell ill just weeks before her trip. Make-a-Wish rescheduled the trip, and Olivia is feeling better this time around. Olivia, her parents and brother are set to leave by limo Sunday morning. Olivia tells Heart FM what she is most looking forward to. "I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I want to see the big castle they have there, and I want to meet Minnie Mouse." Even better news, her mom Carolyn Romkes says Olivia is showing signs of beating the disease. "We are done chemo, her last daily oral chemo on the 29th of October, and her last spinal and port chemo on the 29th. It's been a long 2-and-a-half years, but it's a miracle. She's doing well."
