Officials say a large dog bit someone and dragged them about 10 to 15 feet Thursday night.
TILLSONBURG - A dog biting incident in Tillsonburg has Southwestern Public Health on the lookout.
The health unit says the incident happened last Thursday, around 9:30 p.m. on Quarter Town Line Road, near Southridge Public School. The dog is described as large, with short black fur and a short tail. It is believed to resemble a Rottweiler.
The owner was not present at the time of the incident, and the dog ran out of the ditch after the man had parked on the side of the road and bit his right arm dragging the man 10 to 15 feet.
The dog was wearing a collar at the time, and officials would like to speak with the owner to verify its vaccination status. Anyone with information should call Southwestern Public Health.
