An 85 year old woman was taken to hospital after her vehicle went airborne.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police, EMS and Woodstock Fire were all called out to a crash. It happened yesterday morning around 10:30 in the Woodstock Collegiate Institute parking lot.
A 2000 Nissan traveling west on Adelaide St. lost control, and became airborne after it went up over the curb and ultimately hit a parked an SUV that was unoccupied.
The collision created a domino effect, hitting two other vehicles as well. An 85 year old Woodstock woman was taken to Woodstock General Hospital and later transported to London for further assessment.
Damages are estimated around $30,000. The cause of the incident is still being investigated.
