A total of 45 people have been hired to work at the new Dot Foods facility in Ingersoll so far and the company is looking to hire another 20 this year.
INGERSOLL - Dot Foods is in the process of moving into its new distribution center in Ingersoll.
The $50-million facility is 168,875 square feet it's located at 100 Ken McKee Street.
They started moving dry products into the warehouse in mid-May and they started stocking the cooler and frozen warehouses in June.
Dot Foods has hired 45 people for the new facility so far and it's looking to hire another 20 before the end of the year. Between the new facility and transportation affiliate Dot Transportation Canada, the Ingersoll location will employ 200 people in its first three to five years of operation.
Dot Foods is the largest food industry redistributor in North America with distribution centers also located in Calgary and Brampton.
