The Downtown Woodstock Farmer's Market will be celebrating today with everything 'red, white, and strawberries.'
WOODSTOCK - The Downtown Woodstock Farmers Market is having their season opening party today.
It will be celebrating Canada's 150th with Everything Red, White, and Strawberries. Events and Marketing Coordinator Dalton Beseau tells Heart FM they will have all kinds of entertainment downtown.
"Specifically we are going to have Grindstone who is an amazing acoustic duo and that is led by Rob Cronwell and we are going to be joined by Foxy the Clown, who is going to be doing balloons for all the kiddos."
The event will also feature giveaways, draws, a bbq, dancers, and of course beautiful strawberries. They will also have plenty of local vendors and food trucks from 12 - 5 today at Museum Square.
Beseau says they are hoping to see everyone come out today wearing their red and white gear.
"Because it's Canada's 150th celebration, we hope everyone will come out decked in their red and white - our vendors and businesses have already done so; they are already decorated and they are ready to go."
