No one was hurt after a truck lost its load on Highway 59 in Norwich Township.
NORWICH - The Oxford OPP would like to remind drivers out there to make sure their load is secure before they hit the road.
No one was hurt after a truck in Norwich lost it's load on Highway 59 recently, close to Oxford Road 14 and New Durham Road.
Police say the load landed in the ditch. A picture posted on the OPP West Region X page shows several wooden concrete forms laying on the shoulder of the road.
The driver of the truck has been charged with having an insecure load, which comes with a $390 fine.
#OxfordOPP were on general patrol in #Norwich @OxfordCounty when this happened right in front of them. This was a bad day for this driver but it could have been much worse. Please check to ensure your loads are secure for the #safety of everyone! ^rc pic.twitter.com/ZWVZ7KXNTF
