Police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, as well as money and stolen property at a home in Ingersoll on June 10th. Four individuals were arrested, including two from Ingersoll, and they're scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
INGERSOLL - Four people, including two from Ingersoll, have been charged following a drug search warrant in Ingersoll.
The Oxford County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act Search Warrant at home on Ingersoll Street on June 10th.
Brant County CSCU of the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP's West Region Canine Unit assisted with the investigation.
This warrant was executed in conjunction with other warrants, which was in relation to a joint investigation with the Stratford Police Service and the Waterloo Regional Police.
A quantity of suspected methamphetamine was seized by police, along with heroin, fentanyl as well as money and stolen property. The items that were seized have an estimated value of over $10,000.
The four individuals were arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
34-year-old Stephen Shewan of London was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 4
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Failure to Comply With Release Order x 2
33-year-old Shannon Price of Ingersoll was charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
35-year-old Bernard Leblanc LEBLANC of Thamesford was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
41-year-old Mary Rot ROY of Ingersoll was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 3
All of the accused are scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
