The Woodstock Easter Egg Hunt is set to take place in Victoria Park next Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - The city of Woodstock is going to offer a change of scenery at this year's Easter Egg Hunt.
The popular event will take place in Victoria Park this year, instead of the Woodstock Fairgrounds. It's also scheduled for Saturday March 31st.
Manager of Communications and Special Events Brad Janssen says the hunt will get underway at 11:30am.
"When you get the queue, everyone rushes out to get five different coloured eggs, then go to one of the many tables set up to cash in for a bag of chocolate treats. You'll also be awarded a draw ticket for one of the many prizes."
The free event is for kids between the ages of 2 and 11.
Janssen says it's not a competition.
"We've kind of tweaked it each and every year to take the competitive nature out of it. It's all about the kids and only about the kids and we're looking forward to a great day."
