The Canadian economy could be headed towards a recession early next year.
Experts from the Royal Bank of Canada say the country could be in a recession during the first quarter of 2023.
Economists Nathan Janzen and Claire Fan say housing markets have cooled sharply, and employment is down by 92,000 over the last four months.
The pair also predict interest rates will jump to four percent in Canada and 4 and a half percent in the US.
