The South-West Oxford Energy committee is getting ready for another energy forum.
SALFORD - The Township of South-West Oxford is set to host an energy forum at the Salford Community Centre.
It's an opportunity to learn more about Ontario's GreenON project, which encourages people to become more energy friendly.
Mayor David Mayberry explains how it works.
"The province has collected money on the sales of gas, fossil fuels and that sort of thing. They make the money available to people to try and become more energy efficient."
The event will also include guest speakers from Great Northern Insulation, Hydro One's Affordability Fund, Union Gas and Erie Thames Powerlines.
Mayberry says the forum will be open to all.
"The programs that are offered are offered across the province. We simply are trying to give people an opportunity - where ever they might be - to come and see how they can put some of their hard earned dollars back into their pocket or at least reinvest into their homes."
It will take place on Tuesday April 24th at 7pm.
