Asphalt resurfacing work will start on Dundas Street in Woodstock next week, likely causing some traffic related headaches.
WOODSTOCK - Expect delays on Dundas Street in Woodstock while construction crews do some resurfacing.
Asphalt resurfacing from Wellington Street to Huron will start next Thursday and hopefully be completed by October 1st. City Council approved the work as part of the 2018 Capital Works program. The project is being done to rejuvenate the 20 year old driving surface, which has become rutted in places.
The intersections of Bay/Beale Streets and Victoria and Dundas will be closed during the work. Entry and exit from driveways will be temporarily interrupted when milling and paving are immediately in front of driveways. Traffic will have access most of the time, but there will be interruptions when the paving operation is in front of your property.
The City is anticipating traffic delays while the work is being done.
