Two experts in the field of dementia and Alzheimer Disease are going to be speaking in Woodstock tomorrow night. The Oxford Alzheimer Society is playing host to the speakers Thursday night, from 7-9PM at Emmanuel Reformed Church on Clarke St. in Woodstock. The first speaker is Dr. Jennifer Fogarty, a UWO Professor in the Faculty of Medicine. Her topic will be "Aging and Memory: What's Normal, What's Not". The local Alzeheimer branch believes this is an important topic for any older adult who may be questioning their own lapses in memory. On the research side, Sarah Best, Clinical Trials Coordinator at Parkwood Hospital in London will be talking about "Local Dementia Research Projects". The presentations are free and open to the public.
