Tori Stafford's family can finally exhale. Rodney Stafford reacted to the conviction of Michael Rafferty on 1st degree murder, sexual assault and kidnapping in the death of 8-year-old Tori Stafford on Friday night by saying "I wanted to scream...scream something in the courtroom, but we just couldn't do it. Happy, excitement, but at the same time a sense of loss, because Tori's not coming home. But we got justice." The verdict came down shortly after 9 o'clock. It's a verdict that carries a life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years. Tori's Grandmother Doreen Graichen's reaction was "It's going to be nice to be able to get up and breathe without wondering what's going to happen. It makes me feel like I can breathe again." Tori's mother, Tara McDonald left the courthouse without making a statement, but she told Heart FM earlier in the day, she would make a comment "in a couple of days".
