The federal government is expected to ease quarantine restrictions for fully vaccinated air travelers.
Several media outlets are reporting that the government will likely drop the requirement for air travelers who have received both shots to quarantine in a hotel for 14 days on their own dime.
The change is expected to take effect in July.
Air travelers will still need to take a COVID-19 test upon arriving in the country even if they are fully vaccinated, and remain in isolation until the test results come back negative.
An official announcement is expected to be made later today.
