This weekend's Festival of One Act Plays includes three one-act comedies; All by Myself, Frozen Fish Sticks, and I Don't Mind That You're Ugly.
WOODSTOCK - The Festival of One Act Plays is returning to Theatre Woodstock.
This year's lineup includes three one-act comedies:
All by Myself - written and directed by Robert Scott
Frozen Fish Sticks - written by Rosemary Frisino Toohey and directed by John R. Smith
I Don't Mind That You're Ugly - written by Bobby Keniston and directed by Desmond Nanassy
Ted McLauchlin is the Executive Producer of the show, and he says there will be something for everyone.
"This is community theatre at its very best! There are 18 local actors involved in this production. Some are on stage for the very first time and some have had decades of experience in local theatre. The result is a variety of comedy that explores human relationships, true love, and just a bunch of silly nonsense."
The festival will make its debut tonight starting at 7:30 p.m. Evening shows will also be taking place tomorrow and on Saturday and it will all wrap up with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
Tickets cost $25 for adults, $18 for students, and $12 for kids under the age of 12. They can be purchased online here or in person at the Theatre Woodstock Box Office.
