Woodstock Police conducted a two-day human trafficking initiative earlier this week and five men were charged as a result. The list of suspects includes a 70-year-old from Woodstock and a 51-year-old from Tillsonburg.
WOODSTOCK - Five people have been charged in a Woodstock Police human trafficking investigation.
The Special Victims Unit, the Criminal Investigations Bureau, the Community Response Unit and the Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit ran a two day human trafficking initiative earlier this week. It took place on Wednesday December 15th and Thursday December 16th.
Officers charged a 70-year-old man from Woodstock, a 51-year-old man from Tillsonburg, a 30-year-old man from London, a 28-year-old man from Port Dover and a 30-year-old man from Wellandport as a result.
They have been charged with Communicate with Anyone for the Purpose of Obtaining Sexual Services.
