Police say they found over $42,000 in methamphetamine and fentanyl and arrested 5 people for drug trafficking after pulling over a vehicle in Woodstock on Saturday morning.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have charged 5 people with drug trafficking after a routine traffic stop on Saturday morning around 8.
The stop lead to an investigation and police say the seized about $1,650 of suspected fentanyl, $40,800 in suspected methamphetamine and cash.
Police arrested 42 year old Markus Burkhardt, 38 year old Craig Waytowich, of Kitchener, 37 year old Derek Chambers of Tavistock, 29 year old Shayla Ellement and 42 year old Michelle Germaine of Woodstock.
All five people have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
All five of the accused were held in custody to attend a bail hearing.
