Residents are reminded to use extreme caution near all watercourses, and to keep children and pets away. Stream banks are very slippery and water will be fast-moving, cold and dangerous and any ice cover is unstable and thin. People are encouraged to keep their children and pets away from watercourses. Do not go on frozen flood control reservoirs. A Boating Ban is in effect in the City of London.

Flood warnings have also been issued by the Grand River Conservation Authority, and the Long Point Conservation Authority.
