The 42-year-old faces a variety of drug trafficking related charges.
TILLSONBURG - A man from the Niagara Region is now facing drug charges in Norfolk County.
Police say the 42-year-old man from Fort Erie was arrested on Broadway Street yesterday afternoon, in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in Norfolk County. He was also wanted by the Niagara Regional Police Service at the time.
Officers seized suspected cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl, along with Canadian cash and drug paraphernalia.
He's now facing two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of an opioid for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of the proceeds of property under $5,000.
He'll appear in a Simcoe courtroom for his bail hearing today.
