A system-wide IT outage is affecting all Gateway Casinos sites across Ontario including the one in Woodstock.
UPDATE 2: You'll have to wait a little bit longer if you're thinking about going to the Woodstock casino.
In a statement released Wednesday night, Gateway Casinos and Entertainment said all of its gaming sites in Ontario will remain closed until at least tomorrow. It also said there's no evidence suggesting personal information had been compromised and it has notified "relevant privacy officials about the incident."

UPDATE: It's going to be a few days before Gateway Casinos and Entertainment is able to reopen the Woodstock casino.
In a statement released Monday night, Gateway said they closed all of their gaming sites in Ontario on Sunday due to a cyber security incident. It also said the protection of personal data is its biggest concern, but there is no information suggesting any personal data was compromised at this time.
Gateway has hired third-party cyber security professionals in order to get their IT systems operational again.

WOODSTOCK - Gateway Casinos in Woodstock is currently closed due to a system wide IT outage.
It's affecting all gaming sites in the province and Gateway Casinos released the following statement Sunday:
"Earlier today all Gateway casino sites across Ontario experienced a system-wide IT outage. We have made the decision to close all locations until further notice as we work to correct the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please follow us on our Facebook pages for updates."
The Woodstock casino shutdown at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and there's no word as to when it will reopen at this time. Updates are being provided on the Gateway Casinos Woodstock Facebook page.
