Graham Hart is now the President of the Rotary Club of Woodstock and he says the theme for 2021/2022 is Serve to Change Lives.
WOODSTOCK - Graham Hart is the President of the Rotary Club of Woodstock once again.
He has been with the club for about 30 years now and served as President about 10 years ago.
Hart says the theme for 2021/2022 is Serve to Change Lives and the pandemic will pose a bit of a challenge.
"We're going through a process now of identifying the projects we want to continue and see how we can do those in the coming year with the constraints that COVID has made a challenge for us."
Hart says the club is currently hosting a cheese fundraiser in partnership with Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese.
"People can look up to order through Gunn's Hill and we will actually deliver to anyone who orders cheese. It closes by September 17th and the purpose here is that you would have a good selection of cheeses for Thanksgiving."
You can find more information and place a cheese order online here.
Hart is taking the reigns from Past President Ifhan Hudda. Hart says 2020/2021 was a challenging year, but Hudda did a very good job leading the club.
"We had difficulty meeting together personally, so we had to have a lot of digital meetings. He filled in the gap very well and continued on with as many of our projects as we could, so the club has been left in good shape."
