Police have charged a 77 year old man after he had an altercation with a teenage employee as well as the store manager at the Sobeys in Paris.
BRANT - A teenage grocery store worker who was trying to enforce social distancing rules was assaulted by a customer in Paris.
The incident happened at a Sobeys grocery store on Sunday around 2:45 p.m., police say the teen was advising the customer about the store's rules surrounding COVID-19 when an altercation occurred between the two.
The customer left the store, only to return a second time, and another altercation took place with a manager of the store.
Police have charged a 77 years old man with assault, and uttering threats.
The man will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
