LONDON - Hazmat teams are investigating a strange substance located just east of Colonel Talbot Road North on the 401 near London.
The London Fire Department is handling the investigation. Traffic is moving through the area, however it is very slow. Acting Sergeant Ed Sanchuk says expect delays.
"Right now if you are travelling on the 401, you can expect delays as the highway has been put down to one lane. Traffic is getting by but I can tell you right now, it is backed up for a few miles. Please have patience with us as we continue to investigate this substance. The London Fire Department Hazmat team are the experts here and they are continuing to investigate."
Sanchuk is asking everyone to please focus on driving and not the first responders.
