PERTH COUNTY - The Perth District Health Unit is urging everyone to sign up for their Health Information for Parents (HIP) e-newsletter.
From November 14th to the 30th, anyone who signs up for the newsletter will enter a draw to win a $50 Visa gift card. The HIP e-newsletter is free and is available for parents of school-aged children and teens.
It looks at topics like anxiety, physical activity and helping children to self regulate at home. They also have articles explaining how you can talk to your kids about alcohol, self-esteem, the effects of tanning and unhealthy relationships. Healthy recipes are also included.
The free e-newsletter was created for parents and is issued three times a year in the Fall, Winter and Spring. You can sign up for the e-newsletter online here.
