From March 14 to 29th, children can experience a variety of activities throughout Brant County and the city of Brantford.
BRANT COUNTY - Healthy Kids Brantford-Brant Passport to Health returns to Brant County.
Director of Recreation and Community Development at the County of Brant, Lesley Head says the County is in partnership with the City of Brantford.
"The County of Brant is excited to once again partner with the City of Brantford and offer a variety of free opportunities for children and families in our communities. We encourage you to explore and engage in all types of sport and recreational pursuits. The new 2020 passport provides a fun way to track your activities and once completed, participants will have the opportunity to win a new bike! It’s a win-win for everyone."
The Healthy Kids Brantford-Brant 2020 Passport to Health gives children an opportunity to try new, free activities throughout the County and the city.
Healthy Kids Brantford-Brant supports children up to 12 years-old to lead healthier lives through healthy eating, getting active and making healthy choices. The County says the goal is to improve the culture of children's health within the community.
From March 14th - 29th, The County says kids can experience a variety of activities including boxing, dancing, music lessons and skating.
They say kids can participate in any number of activities and the provider will stamp their passport after each activity is done. Once passports are completed, they can be dropped off at the County of Brant Community Services office at 15 Curtis Ave North in Paris.
The County says participants will be entered into a draw to win a new bike and helmet.
All elementary school students in the Grand Erie District School Board and Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board will receive the 2020 Passport to Health at school.
