OXFORD COUNTY - The Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors supported Dayspring.
Last month, Witaar was involved in two different events that raised money and item to help supply essential resources to families and individuals throughout Oxford County. On June 2nd, Witaar volunteers got together for the annual care day and assembled 50 baby bags, which will go to expecting families in the County. The bags contained diapers, baby wipes, baby shampoo, baby blankets, knitted baby hats, teething rings, and vitamin D drops. A special thank you goes to Innerkip Family Pharmacy, which generously donated 50 full-size bottles of vitamin D drops to support the initiative.
Their annual summer picnic acted as a diaper drive, which helped gather 44 boxes of diapers for Dayspring. Witaar also donated $1,000 worth of formula, which will make sure vulnerable infants and families have access to essential nutrition. Also at the picnic, a 50/50 draw saw $750 raised, as the winners, Tammy Betzner and Jen Chadwick-Storey, along with Witaar donated their portions to the cause.
