New Zealand is looking to take a bold new approach to curb smoking in the County.
They are about to pass a law that would make it illegal for anyone born after 2008 to purchase tobacco products. This ban would be in place for the rest of their lives. Anyone born before 2008 will still be allowed to purchase tobacco products. The idea behind the proposed law is eliminate smoking in the country for future generations. Some argue it will only embolden the black market.
Heart FM wants to hear your thoughts on the proposed law in our most recent weekly poll.
