OXFORD COUNTY - A heat warning is in effect.
Environment Canada says the temperature will be 30 to 32 degrees but it will feel like 38 to 40 degrees with the humidity today.
They say the heat will continue into tomorrow, going from 31 to 33 degrees and getting as high of 41 with the humidity. The heat may persist into Tuesday.
Parts of the County that are affected include Woodstock and Tillsonburg.
Environment Canada says extreme heat affects everyone, but the risks are greater for pregnant women and younger children. It can also affect people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
They say workers should take regularly scheduled breaks while working outside. Also, to never leave your pets or children inside of a parked vehicle.
