Robert Crimo III faces 21 counts of first-degree murder.
The man accused of firing shots during an Independence Day parade in Chicago has been indicted on 117 counts.
The Lake County State's Attorney's office says Robert Crimo III has been indicted on 21 first degree murder counts - three counts for each person who died.
He has also been indicted by a grand jury on 48 counts of attempted murder, and 48 counts of aggravated battery.
The day after the shooting, Crimo was charged with seven counts of first-degree murder.
Crimo has been accused of firing an assault rifle from a rooftop, killing seven people.
He's due back in court on August 3rd.
