Registration is open for the latest edition of the Local History Speaker Series on July 19th.
TILLSONBURG - The third installment of the Local History Speaker Series will be in Tillsonburg.
It is presented by Oxford County Library and Oxford County Archives, and the event will take place July 19th at the Oxford County Library Tillsonburg branch.
Local History Specialist, Dr. Matthew Griffis gives us a sneak peak of what we can expect.
"It's the first time we've had an internal speaker, a member of library staff actually serve as the featured speaker, and the presentation that I'll give is called twice a pioneer, the history of Oxford's County Library services, and it explores the history of Oxford County Library."
Dr. Griffis explains says you can be there in person or watch it online.
"People can attend at the library, or they may watch live from home via Zoom as space is limited for both options and both options require pre-registration."
You can pre-register by calling the Tillsonburg library or visiting the Oxford County Library website. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. and run until 3:30 p.m.
