Police say the 31 year old man hit another car, tried to get away, got stuck in the snow and then took off on foot.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested a 31 year old man after a hit and run on Monday afternoon.
Police say the driver slammed into another vehicle on Huron Street just before 5 pm and then took off from the scene at a high rate of speed. The driver ignored traffic lights, before getting stuck in the snow on Van Ave. Police had to chase him down on foot.
The 31 year old was arrested on charges of failure to stop for an accident, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving while under suspension and fail to comply with a probation order.
