SIMCOE - A hockey coach had to be escorted from an arena in Simcoe after things got a little heated during a hockey game.
The Norfolk OPP responded to disturbance at the Talbot Gardens Arena Wednesday night. Officers say the coach got in a verbal altercation with a referee, which lead to them throwing a hockey stick at the referee.
The stick came close to the players on the ice, but no one was hurt and no charges have been laid.
