It is that time of year, the holidays are upon us, and that means closures in the City of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The holiday season is upon us, so there are a few closures you should know about if you live in the Friendly City.
Woodstock City Hall and Market Centre will be closed as of today and won't reopen until Friday, January 2nd.
The Woodstock Museum and the Art Woodstock Gallery have already shut down for the holidays, and they will also reopen on January 2nd. The Woodstock Public Library will be closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, but it will be open on Monday and Tuesday, before it closes again for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The Cowan Park Sportsplex, Reeves Community Complex, and Civic Centre Arena will also be closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but they will reopen on Monday. The Community Complex and Civic Centre will close at 3:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve and remain closed on New Year's Day. Cowan Park will be open until 5:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve and closed on New Year's Day.
The Woodstock Enviro Depot will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, but it will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The Yard Waste Depot will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
