Price of natural gas set to rise.
Expect another spike in gas prices, but this time its not at the pumps.
Enbridge Gas is preparing to raise prices for natural gas between 18 and 23 percent beginning July 1st.
The Ontario Energy Board approved the hike last week.
Enbridge is blaming the increase on the war in Ukraine and increased demand for natural gas.
The price hike means homeowners who have an average bill of $110 a month could end up paying about $300 more a year.
Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy tells CTV News "This time last year if you were paying $900, look to pay about $1,400."
