Hops n' Heels is coming up again next month.
WOODSTOCK - The Hops n' Heels fundraiser returns in April.
The event is a social gathering for women helping other women.
Organizer Jennifer Webb says the event is all about getting women together to have a fun time for a good cause.
"What you're going to see is a bunch of women basically laughing, having fun but they're going to be checking out items, the silent auction items. We also are going to have a woman singing for us, Lynn Hickey is going to be playing so there's going to be that. There's food, little nibbles. We've got some gift giveaways and it's just a night of comradery and support."
The fundraiser is in support of Women's Employment Resource Centre; Cathy Austin Fund.
Organizer Cynthia Grant says the money raised from this year's event will go towards the Cathy Austin Fund.
"Cathy Austin is a longtime board member and supporter of the Women's Employment Centre. This fund was created to provide short term financial support for women looking for employment, like with transportation costs, accommodation support for workplace, work boots, haircuts for an interview and so many other things. It's just a really great program and fund."
This is the third time Hops n' Heels is being put on in the community.
All tickets are $35.00 and they can be bought online. Webb says tickets are limited, as there are only 95 tickets being sold for the fundraiser.
Hops n' Heels is on April 25th at the Upper Thames Brewery from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
