The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth will start providing animal control and by-law services to Zorra Township.
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth will start providing animal control and by-law services to Zorra Township.
Zorra awarded the HSKWSP the contract back in December. The services provided include animal control for dogs, animal by-law and pound services. The contract is in place until December 31, 2024.
CEO Kathrin Delutis says they are excited to partner with Zorra Township.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Township of Zorra to provide residents with animal control and by-law services. Our team looks forward to spending time in the community helping both people and pets!"
Animal control will be mostly be geared towards dogs. They will offer full services on weekdays and emergency services on evenings, weekends and holidays.
