You can now report on multiple crimes online, including a lost/stolen license plate, theft of under 5 thousand dollars and others.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police say they will be offering online reporting to the community.
Residents can now report online for a number of crimes, including damage/mischief to property, lost property of under $5,000.00, theft of under $5,000.00 and more.
Police say these reports are to be used for non-emergency events and if you do have an emergency call 911.
Chief of Police William Renton says online reporting gives police another opportunity to interact with the community.
"As a community service, we believe that by offering on-line reporting we have opened another door for engagement with the public. Our service is proud to be investing in this technology, which continues to give our citizens an exceptional policing experience."
