Police say the 24-year-old had almost three times the legal limit of alcohol in their system.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after a single vehicle crash in the north end of the Friendly City.
Woodstock Police were called out to the area of Devonshire Ave and Falcon Drive at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and found out that the driver tried to leave.
Officers wound up arresting both the driver and the passenger. They were taken to Woodstock Police headquarters, and that's when officers discovered that the driver had almost three times the legal limit of alcohol in their system.
A 24-year-old from Paris has since been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. Their licence was suspended and their vehicle was impounded as well.
