WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after Woodstock Police responded to a report of an impaired driver in the Dundas Street and Burtch Street area.
A concerned citizen called police on Friday after they spotted two intoxicated individuals get in a vehicle and drive erratically to a nearby location.
Police arrested a 60-year-old man afterward and discovered that he had close to three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. He's now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
His licence has also been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
