INGERSOLL - The 23rd annual Ingersoll Community Cruise is about to takeover Verspeeten Cartage.
The popular car show will be taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Sunday and it will also have a silent auction, a 50/50 draw, and over 30 vendors on site. Dominos Pizza provide the food for the event.
All of the proceeds will support Power of Hope, a local charity that gives care packages to gives every Christmas. Executive Director Karen Geerts tells us what's in these packages.
"Along with the pajamas and teddy bears, we put hats, mitts, socks, underwear, blankets, some toiletries for the older kids and a small toy for the younger kids."
The Power of Hope made about 1,200 packages last year and they were sent to 517 families.
