The public will be asked for input as Ingersoll looks at ways to enhance the downtown core.
INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll is looking to enhance the downtown core.
An enhancement plan is in the works, which will look at ways to make the core more vibrant, inclusive, and economically resilient. The focus will be sustainable growth, attracting new businesses and creating a dynamic place for residents and visitors.
Urban Insights in partnership with Durrell Communications will be the lead consultants in the development process. The residents of Ingersoll will be able to share their thoughts. The plan is set to be completed by April 2025, and hearing from the public will ensure their voice is heard, and will help make the downtown core a place that meets the needs and wants of the community.
Public engagement sessions will start in late January next year, and residents will be able to share their ideas and feedback during in-person meetings or via online surveys.
More information about the enhancement plan will be shared online in early 2025.
