Oxford OPP were able to return a Hope Chest to it's rightful owner and arrest a 33 year old man on charges of Break and Enter and Theft.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP have charged a 33 year old man from Ingersoll after a break and enter on Thames Street North earlier this month.
Police say the man broke into a storage unit on the property, stealing a hope chest. The Oxford Community Street Crime Unit were able to track down several suspects and recovered the stolen property, which has been returned to it's rightful owner.
Kevin Mackenzie Wonch has been charged with break and enter and commit the indictable offence of theft, contrary to Section 348 (1) (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Woodstock at a later date.
