The 26th Annual Ingersoll Rotary Christmas Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday.
INGERSOLL - Santa Claus is coming to Ingersoll!
The 26th Annual Ingersoll Rotary Christmas Parade will be happening this Saturday and the theme this year is Magical Holiday Movies.
There are 65 entries including the Pipe Band, the Ghostbuster car, and the Golden Harps Steel Drum Band. Rotary Member Ted Comiskey says stilt walker Doug the Great will also be there.
"He just set a Guinness World Record for tallest walk at 55 feet high, but he won't be doing that in this run because he would hit the Christmas lights if he did that! So he won't be that tall, but he will be a great addition to the parade."
Comiskey says the parade will leave the police station at 11:00 a.m.
"It will be traveling up right onto Main Street, right up to Thames Street, and then going right on through the downtown area complete. So the idea is to get there early because it will be a great time and you should be able to get a good spot."
Comiskey will be stopping by the Heart FM studio tomorrow for a live interview with Dan and Marcie at 8:10 a.m.
