An Ingersoll man has thrown his hat into the ring to be the town's next mayor.
INGERSOLL - A mayoral candidate would like to change the attitude of Ingersoll.
Tim Lobzun is running for Mayor.
He says there are many problems he would like to work on.
"We're the highest priced tax base, we've got the highest priced utilities, we've the highest water and sewage rates and some of the lowest growth, especially when it comes to commercial and industrial properties.
However there is one aspect he would like to focus on first.
"For some reason, we do not get the entrepreneurial spirit and the investments that our neighbours in Woodstock and Tillsonburg have. I think that's more attitudinal from the base of how the town is run, so I want to work to help to change that."
Lobzun has been a Ingersoll resident since 1982.
The upcoming municipal election is on October 22nd.
