The Rotary Club of Ingersoll will be sending 12 lucky winners on trips all around the world with their R&R Lottery.
INGERSOLL - The Rotary Club of Ingersoll is looking to send you on a vacation.
Twelve trips are up for grabs in locations all around the world. Member of Rotary Club of Ingersoll Dominic Ricciuto says this fundraiser will be a lot of fun. "It is a very exciting fundraiser that we have implemented in our club; it is called the R & R or Rest and Relaxation Lottery. It is basically to raise funds for our club to support all of the activities that we do. We think it can make a great Christmas gift for somebody that says they don't want anything or they have everything."
Ricciuto says tickets are $100 and the odds of winning a dream vacation or cash prize are fantastic. "It's a trip of the month lottery so it runs all of next year from April 2016 into March of 2017. Every month we will be drawing a trip and there are also cash prizes. The great thing about each ticket is you're eligible for every cash prize every month, but with only 650 tickets sold your odds of winning are 1 in 18."
Some of the destinations include Ireland, Las Vegas, and even Mexico. Ricciuto says there are also measures in place in case you win a trip but for some reason you can't make it. "If you weren't able to travel on that particular trip in that particular month you would get a travel voucher for the amount value of that trip which you could use at any time. It is a great donation to our club to support the projects that we have. We made an announcement that when Ingersoll starts to develop their multi-use recreational facility we made a $100 000 commitment towards that project, so it is definitely going to good causes."
