INGERSOLL - A teenager from Ingersoll is about to learn a very expensive lesson.
Officers say they tried to pull over the young man on Thames Street last Thursday morning. According to police the teen tried to speed away from the cops. He was eventually caught and arrested.
The teen is now facing the following charges:
- Flight from peace officer
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Failure to stop after accident
- Owner operate motor vehicle on a highway - no insurance
- Use plate not authorized
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Woodstock at a later date.
